NR EVANS MAKES BRIGHT INVESTMENT WITH 15 NEW SCHMITZ CARGOBULL REEFERS

National temperature-controlled distribution business NR Evans has expanded its fleet with 15 new Schmitz Cargobull refrigerated trailers.
The new trailers join NR Evans’ 202-strong fleet, 98 of which are currently Schmitz Cargobull-manufactured assets. NR Evans is currently expanding its portfolio and the new trailers are to be put to work transporting packaged milk between distribution centres across the country.
Rob James, Regional Fleet Manager, says: “We chose trailers from Schmitz Cargobull because we’ve been very happy with our previous purchases. We know with Schmitz Cargobull we get high quality trailers that are very cost-effective.”
James adds: “We also found the purchasing process very straightforward – it’s been very easy working with Schmitz Cargobull.”
The firm is looking forward to the fact that Schmitz Cargobull trailers are typically low-maintenance because of the ease of repair of the galvanised and bolted chassis and swappable FERROPLAST® panelling.
James concludes: “We are very pleased with our purchase. We received our trailers exactly when promised and we’re excited to put them to work so they can help expand our operations further.”
NR Evans is one of the ten largest temperature controlled distribution companies in the UK, delivering more than £500m of chilled products annually. The firm has seven operating centres across the UK and provides logistical support for brands such as Dairy Crest and Dawn Meats.
