Sectra receives order for Fortuner from Switzerland

The Swiss Oceantrade S.A. company has ordered 2,000 Fortuner from the
Sectra IT and telecom company in Linköping. Oceantrade will use Fortuner
for providing professional customers with financial information services
in real time, such as currency rates, stock market information and
financial news. The order is valued at SEK 5.2 million.

Fortuner is an advanced portable information terminal based on DARC
technology. Sectra is the world leader in this technology, which was
originally developed for Swedish defense forces in the mid-1990s for the
transfer of air surveillance information.

"By selecting Sectra's Fortuner, we will have the possibility of offering
our customers a high-quality mobile information service in real time,"
says Vito Cavaliero, President of Oceantrade S.A.

"Using the DARC system, the information is sent via the FM network and
this immediately provides national coverage. It is considerably less
expensive and the information becomes more easily accessible than, for
example, via the Internet. It is possible to receive information in any
location where it is possible to receive FM radio," says Dick Ollas,
President of Sectra Wireless Technologies AB.

Data Radio Channel (DARC) is a digital radio information system with a
transmission speed of 16 kbit/sec. DARC is an ITU and ETSI standard, which
uses a subcarrier in the FM band.
