Sharon Tube Re-enters the DOM Industry
CHICAGO (March 4, 2013) — JMC Steel Group announced today that as of April 1, 2013, the DOM product line will be marketed under the Sharon Tube brand name. In addition, JMC has named Bill Perrine president of the new division. Perrine, a 32-year veteran of the steel pipe and tube industry, most recently served as the CEO of Sharon Tube prior to his retirement in 2007.
“The reinstatement of the Sharon Tube brand could not have come at a better time,” said Barry Zekelman, CEO of JMC Steel Group. “Sharon Tube has always been the recognized quality and service leader in the precision tubing industry.”
