Skanska awarded railway contract in Poland worth about PLN 132 M, about SEK 320 M

Skanska has been awarded a railway project in the south of Poland for about PLN 132 M, about SEK 320 M. Client is the Polish Railway lines. The order will be included in the order booking for Skanska Europe in the third quarter 2018.

The project includes modernization of 24 kilometres of railway lines, modernization of 7 bridges and 9 platforms, renovation of 14 culverts and reconstruction of 24 kilometres of overhead power railway line on Railway 62, Charsznica - Wolbrom - Jaroszowiec Olkuski, in the south part of Poland.

Construction starts in August 2018 and will be completed in November 2020.
