Skanska invests in land in Warsaw, Poland, for EUR 43M, about SEK 410M

Skanska has acquired about 3,000 square meters of land in Warsaw, Poland. The total investment amounts to EUR 43M, about SEK 410M.

The plot is located next to the ONZ Roundabout, in the central location of the city. The estimated gross leasable potential is about 60,000 square meters. With this purchase, Skanska Property Poland will become a significant developer in the area between the ONZ and Daszyńskiego roundabouts in Warsaw.

The plot is situated in the vicinity of other Skanska projects in the city center and rapidly growing Wola district – Generation Park and Spark being under construction, Atrium 1, and Atrium 2 which has just been officially opened.

Skanska Commercial Development Europe initiates and develops office property projects. The company’s operations are concentrated in the metropolitan areas of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Poland and are conducted in four local units: Skanska Property Czech Republic, Skanska Property Hungary, Skanska Romania and Skanska Property Poland.
