Skanska reconstructs highway outside Prague, Czech Republic, for CZK 787M, about SEK 300M

Skanska has signed a contract with RMD (Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic) to modernize Highway D11 outside Prague, Czech Republic. The contract is worth CZK 787M, about SEK 300M, which will be included in the order bookings for Europe in the first quarter 2018.

The project includes the reconstruction of 8 kilometers of the highway D11 from Prague Ring Road and east towards the city of Hradec Králové. In addition to the complete replacement of road layers and modernization of related highway facilities, including intersection branches, four bridges will be renovated. There will also be brand new rest stops along the highway.

Construction is expected to start in the second quarter 2018 and completion is planned for third quarter 2019.
