Skanska has signed a contract with Helical Plc to refurbish 207 Old Street, a mixed-use development in London, UK. The contract is worth GBP 73M, about SEK 810M, which will be included in the order bookings for Europe for the first quarter 2017.

The contract involves stripping back the existing building to its original frame and adding three new floors. New washrooms and two extra elevators will also be installed.

The building is part of a larger development called The Bower on Old Street Roundabout and will bring 16,000-square-meters of offices and 700-square-meters of retail space to the Silicon Roundabout area.

Work has started and is expected to be complete in June 2018.
