SKF appoints Lars Wilsby to Senior Vice President, Group Business Transformation

SKF today announced the appointment of Lars Wilsby to Senior Vice President, Group Business Transformation.  He will report to Tom Johnstone, SKF President and CEO, and be a member of SKF Group Management.  Mr. Wilsby, previously served as Director, Vehicle Service Market, SKF Automotive Division.

This new role will be responsible for Group IT and Demand Chain processes and is effective 1 January 2012.

Lars Wilsby joined SKF in 2005 and held several managerial positions within SKF Automotive Division. Prior to joining SKF, he was a partner in McKinsey & Company, Inc.Scandinavia.

With this appointment, Magnus Johansson, currently Senior Vice President, Group Demand Chain will take up the role of Director, Vehicle Service Market, SKF Automotive Division.
