Bedford Labs Issues Recall for Cytarabine

Bedford Laboratories has issued a recall for three lots of the injectable cancer drug Cytarabine.

The company issued the recall because an investigation has revealed that the manufacturing area had a “lack of sterility assurance.”

Cytarabine is approved to be used with other cancer drugs for non-lymphatic leukemia of adults and children. It is used in emergency rooms, healthcare facilities, clinics, Hospitals physician offices and other and providers.
