Eriez® Reports Records for Orders and Shipments in the United States, Japan and Worldwide
Erie, PA—Tim Shuttleworth, Eriez®President and CEO, announces the company’s Erie, PA Headquarters facility closes 2011 with more than $100 million (USD) in orders while Eriez-Japan, the company’s affiliate in Japan, finishes the year with more than $1 billion Yen (JPY) or $12 million (USD) in shipments.
“It’s been a banner year for Eriez across the globe,” explains Shuttleworth. “In addition to exceptional sales and shipment numbers from Eriez HQ and Eriez-Japan, all Eriez divisions showed strong performances in 2011. For the first time in our history, we have exceeded our previous record year worldwide by more than 40 percent.”
Increased demand in 2011 prompted Eriez to expand its operations in five countries. Eriez purchased an additional building in Erie, PA, approximately 15 miles from its World Headquarters. Internationally, the company is also expanding in Canada, China, India and the United Kingdom.
