STI (Europe) launches new harsh environment safety device at IFSEC 2012
STI (Europe) will showcase its unique range of innovative products designed to prevent false fire alarms, theft and vandalism at this month’s IFSEC exhibition at Birmingham’s NEC. Featured will be the new Enviro Stopper® an IP rated protective enclosure designed to extend the life and reliability of devices exposed to water and harsh environments.
Applications engineering team members will be on hand at Stand B-10 in Hall 3A from 14-17 May to demonstrate solutions to a wide variety of different protection needs. The Enviro Stopper® consists of a clear, tamper-proof, tough polycarbonate cover (IP56) and backbox (IP66) that can accommodate a standard European call point or switch. When the cover is opened a deterrent alarm is emitted and will draw immediate attention to the area. When the cover is closed, the unit is sealed and achieves an overall rating of IP56 preventing dust, grime and water getting to the device. Available in red, green, yellow, blue, white and black
In addition to Enviro Stopper®, STI’s flagship products will also be on display, providing answers to the challenges of false alarms, emergency exit misuse, vandalism and misuse of fire extinguishers, among many others.
