Anna Salmi (born 1979), M.Sc.(Econ.), has been appointed Stockmann's Chief Customer Officer and member of the Management Team as of 28 October 2016. She will lead Stockmann’s Marketing and Digitalisation function, which is responsible for customer relationships, marketing and digital services. She will report to CEO Lauri Veijalainen.

Anna Salmi has been at Stockmann since 2015 as Director, Digital Retail. Before that she has worked, for example, as Commercial Director and Sales and Marketing Director at Aurinkomatkat - Suntours and as Director of Digital Marketing at Finnair.

”Stockmann’s goal is to offer the customers a premium shopping experience with convenient and seamless integration between the brick-and-mortar and online stores. We want to communicate more strongly about our renewing product selection, bring the whole department store offering visible online, and offer our customers more reasons to visit the stores. Anna will have a key role in the development of these areas, and she has a proven track record of both digital marketing and online business,” says CEO Lauri Veijalainen.

”We want to take advantage of digitalisation particularly in developing Stockmann’s service offering to better meet the customer needs, and in marketing communications in which the role of data and continuous customer dialogue are of crucial importance. I'm excited about this challenge and believe in our ability to develop our operations and services in order to best serve our customers,” says Anna Salmi.
