Stora Enso: Announcement with a reference to Chapter 2, paragraph 10 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act

Stora Enso Oyj was informed on 24 May 2012 that after a return of shares lent out by Norges Bank and an acquisition of shares, the number of shares in the Company held by Norges Bank (The Central Bank of Norway) has exceeded 5% of the paid-up share capital and the number of shares in Stora Enso Oyj on 23 May 2012.

With reference to Chapter 2, paragraph 10 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act, Stora Enso Oyj is reporting that as of 23 May 2012 the shareholding of Norges Bank is as follows:

The holding of Norges Bank has been calculated according to the share capital registered on 23 May 2012.
