Introducing Storytel Family

Report this content

Welcome to Storytel Family –– two new subscription formats added to our original plan, all now also viewable in our new child-friendly Kids Mode. Now the whole family can share both stories and Storytel with each other, and take full control over their digital experiences.

Thanks to Storytel Family, the whole family can listen to Storytel at the same time, and pay a single low price through one payment channel. In contrast to other family subscription plans, though, Storytel Family is more than just a payment plan.

Storytel Family links two or three individual accounts, depending on how many you choose, with individual bookshelves for each user and personal book recommendations based upon your individual reading patterns. Each account comes complete with the option of streaming content for children in Storytel Family’s Kids Mode. With this new function we’ve put a lot of effort into developing content and functionality for young people.

“Storytel Family is meant to be a springboard into the world of reading, including exciting new discussions at the dinner table,” says Ingrid Bojner, CCO at Storytel. “We’ve taken the time to develop our large and ever-expanding list of titles for young people, as well as functions such as Kids Mode –– a filter which allows parents to let their kids go exploring in the app, and find their own favorites.”
