StratoComm Corporation Shareholder Alert
StratoComm Corporation, (OTC: STCO) Albany, New York, preliminary to the public release of additional information regarding company progress and status StratoComm has elected to provide the following cautionary information and request to its shareholders.
It has come to management’s attention that a source has been contacting certain of StratoComm shareholders and various StratoComm business collaborators, relationships and prospective vendors in a manner that in management’s opinion is purposely malicious, disruptive and compromising. Such purposely disruptive conduct has long been suspected and may well date back six or seven years. As shareholders have witnessed, there have been a number of occasions when StratoComm has seemingly been on the verge of meaningful breakthrough only to see months of effort and the commitment of considerable resources inexplicably compromised. Legal counsel has encouraged management to communicate the following.
It is presently understood that contact from this malicious source is most often by telephone. The individual introduces himself as though representing daunting authority and in the course of the conversation requests that his contact is not communicated back to the company. Fortunately a number of shareholders and certain of StratoComm’s business relationships have communicated that they have been the target of such threatening communications. It is the company’s opinion that it is likely this person’s conduct is outside the scope of any reasonable authority that he may hold. It also could be argued that such activity is at minimum unethical and perhaps illegal. Most certainly this activity, which is believed to date back a number of years, has been and continues to be compromising to the interest of StratoComm Corporation and so its shareholders.
Encouragement is offered to each shareholder that may have received contact to take time to record as much information as possible regarding the timing of the contact, the name of the individual initiating contact, clearly what was stated as to whom he represents, information provided as to the purpose of the call, any request that may have been made by the individual and any comments that you may care to share.
