STOCKHOLM, 1 APRIL 2016

Sveafastigheter’s and the Third National Swedish Pension Fund’s (”AP3”) common property company Fastighets AB Regio (”Regio”) has acquired five properties within Solbacken retail district in Skellefteå, Sweden. The seller is Savills Investment Management and the handover was completed on 31 March 2016.

The properties comprise approximately 34,000 sqm modern retail facilities, which basically embrace the whole Solbacken retail district.

Eric Bergström, Sveafastigheter:
”We are very pleased with adding Skellefteå to the map over Regio’s property investments. Skellefteå along with other regional cities in northern Sweden are of great interest for Regio’s continuous expansion. Regio has, since the start six months ago, acquired 32 retail and office properties, spread over 12 cities from Karlskrona in south to Skellefteå up north.”

In connection to the transaction, Regio is starting cooperation with a new asset manager partner, Herde Förvaltning, which will handle the property management in alignment with Sveafastigheter’s established LAMP-model (Local Asset Management Partner).
