Changes in Swedbank´s Group Executive Management

Ola Laurin has been appointed sole Head of the business area Large Corporates & Institutions, a role previously shared with Elisabeth Beskow.

Since 2016, Ola Laurin has shared the leadership for the business area with Elisabeth Beskow, who has decided to leave the bank for another role within the financial industry.

Ola Laurin has been employed in Swedbank since 2000. Before he was appointed Head of Large Corporates & Institutions he has had a variety of executive roles within the business area and in other parts of the bank.

– I would like to thank Elisabeth Beskow for her contribution to Swedbank. Ola will now be the sole head of the business area Large Corporates & Institutions. He has played an active role in creating a strong customer-focused business anchored in Swedbank´s values. Among other things, Ola has implemented the current organisation within LC&I and initiated the successful cooperation with Kepler Cheuvreux, says Birgitte Bonnesen, President and CEO in Swedbank.
