Stacie Harrison from Buckfastleigh in Devon has won the Junior Dressage title in the Amtrust Equine RWHS Unaffiliated Championships at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

The competition gives grass roots riders a unique opportunity to compete at Royal Windsor. All competitors are members of the British Riding Clubs movement and earned their places in these finals at individual riding club qualifiers held across the UK.

Stacie rode Hillam My Dudley (Dudley) who she has owned for almost five years. Speaking after the prize giving, she said: “We have done a bit of everything together, but we have never competed at a show of this size.

“It was really unexpected to win but I’m very proud and I couldn’t have asked anything better from Dudley.”

Perdie Reid, Claims Manager at Amtrust Equine who sponsor the Championships, was especially pleased as Dudley is insured with the company.

She said: “We’ve had an absolutely wonderful show. For us this is what it is all about – supporting grass roots horses and ponies. Riding Club horses are exactly the type of animals we want to insure, so this competition is perfect for us to support. And even better that Dudley is already an Amtrust pony!”
