(Las Vegas, NV - August 10, 2011) - The American Society of Traditional Artists is pleased to announce our Annual Show & Sale will be held at the elegant Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada from April 19-22, 2012.  The event will be billed as: ROCKSTARS OF THE ART WORLD and will be one the art industry's premier events for 2012.

Artists will walk the red carpet and will be treated as VIPs for the entire weekend - as the giants of the art world that they are.  These are among the world's greatest living artists. The sale and live auction events will be held at the Monet Room inside the Bellagio.  The Monet Room is a state-of-the-art meeting facility that features multimedia systems, programmable lighting, dynamic sound and projection systems, staging and large glass doors opening onto the Monet Patio which overlooks the beautiful Bellagio Gardens and pool area.

The events include the Red Carpet VIP Reception at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art on Thursday.  On Friday, collectors and artists gather in the Monet Room for the exciting preview and start of the sale followed by the Rockstar Art Gala where collectors and artists converge.  On Saturday, brunch followed by lunch ... the sale continues and the spirited Live Auction takes place in the afternoon. This will be a ticketed event.  More information can be found at the ASTA Website.

About ASTA

The American Society of Traditional Artists aims for the highest standards of quality in all its endeavors. American Society of Traditional Artists, also known as (ASTA) will be taking a clear and precise path: to promote a better understanding and appreciation of the art that our members produce, through our annual exhibitions and lectures at a national event. We’re living in an amazing era for traditional representational art. Much has changed over the last fifteen years, more and more ateliers are springing up across America teaching the 600-year-old methods of past greats, resulting in a movement unlike any seen since the Renaissance. New doors are now opening for ASTA and their artists - we look forward to expanding our reach with major museums across the US, and expanding our reach with community and youth programs and providing even more support to our members.
