Dinner with Betty White is one of several “one of a kind” experiences being offered in The Seeing Eye online auction. Betty White has been a longtime supporter of The Seeing Eye, having starred in educational videos, radio public service announcements and contributing to The Seeing Eye Online Auction each year. To recognize her support for The Seeing Eye and her long-standing reputation as an animal lover, The Seeing Eye named a puppy after White for her 90thbirthday in January. Betty the Seeing Eye® puppy is a black Labrador retriever who was born on October 2, 2011.

“I can’t think of a better person to share a meal with than Betty. We’re so thankful for her continued support of The Seeing Eye’s online auction,” said The Seeing Eye’s President & CEO Jim Kutsch. “The Seeing Eye puppy we named for Betty White’s 90thbirthday, and in recognition of her lifelong love of animals, is living up to her name. Betty the puppy is friendly, outgoing and really enjoys meeting new people!”

Auction categories include getaways, designer items, gift baskets for dog lovers, sports tickets and memorabilia, entertainment packages and accessibility products. Pamper mom for Mother’s Day with products just for her (items will ship in time for the holiday).
