LOS ANGELES (November 16, 2011) - Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club and Icing on the Ring granted one lucky couple, Eddy and Denise Blodgett the wedding of their dreams on November 11, 2011.

Eddy and Denise Blodgett won a lavish wedding giveaway, valued at $100,000 back in July, put on by the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club and Icing on the Ring.

"I always wanted to give Denise a really big formal wedding and unfortunately, that wasn't possible the first time around. I always told her that I wanted to do that for her in the future," said Eddy Blodgett. The couple tied the knot more than a year ago, but because of the soldier's service to our country, they weren't able to have a big celebration until this past Friday.

“The contest was about giving back to a couple that deserved it the most, and we were happy to provide such a humble, loving couple with the wedding of their dreams," said Vic Rupchian, Co-Owner and Head Designer of Icing On The Ring.

Making this day special as well was the fact that it was Veterans Day.  "Her husband is a combat veteran. He served in Afghanistan for about a year so very appropriate to have the wedding during Veterans Day," said Sergeant Sigifredo Perez, guest at the wedding.

The wedding took place on the lush Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club grounds. It was a place fit for the royal couple as Prince William and Kate Middleton visited the Club on their trip to California, and now a soldier and his bride tied the knot at the same location for their own version of the royal wedding

The bride looked breathtaking in her fairytale dress designed by Beautiful Day Wedding whileIcing on the Ring’s bracelet, earrings, and necklace added to the bride’s luminous glow and sparkle. Eddy and Denise received custom designed wedding bands and customized cufflinks from Icing on the Ring. Gorgeous flower arrangements were provided by Honeydew Favors and Floral Design, giving off the scent of love as Eddy and Denise exchanged their vows.

DJ Adam Nello jump-started the reception with beats that took every guest to their feet. The regaling continued with a delicious and picturesque wedding cake and cupcakes provided by Cookie Classics and cupcakes decorated in Roundabouts® Cupcake Sleeves. Even rain wasn't an issue on the big day as Classic Party Rentals provided a tent to shield the couple and their guests.  Following the reception, the couple was escorted to the airport in a private limo to escape to Las Vegas for a tropical two-night escape at the Mirage Hotel.

Although 11/11/11 only comes once in a lifetime, Eddy and Denise will remember their special day forever with brilliant photographs by Reel Light Pictures.
