Vizrt signs USD 260k broadcast graphics deal with CBC Germany

Bergen, Norway, July 03, 2014, Vizrt Ltd. (Oslo Main List: VIZ).

Vizrt Ltd. announced today a deal worth USD 260,000 for the implementation of broadcast graphics products with Cologne Broadcasting Center (“CBC”), part of Media Group RTL Germany. The purchase expands the current Vizrt installation, which includes Viz Trio live 3D graphics systems, Viz Pilot template-based graphics system and Viz Virtual Studio systems for live, immersive 3D virtual sets.

The new deal includes additional HD Viz Engines, Vizrt’s real-time compositing system, which will give RTL additional graphics rendering capacity. Viz Virtual Studio was included to help the customer facilitate growth.

Media Group RTL Germany is one of the leading media companies in Central Europe. Its strong brands reach an audience of approximately 90 million viewers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Since its inception in 1994, CBC has become one of the leading broadcasting and television production companies in Germany with locations in Cologne, Munich and Berlin.
