A Target Free Weekend and Cause for Celebration, Sat, Sun, July 6, 7

Wave Hill, a public garden and cultural center in the Bronx, announces that Wave Hill House, a historic Hudson River mansion, will reopen in early summer, following a two-year renovation. Built as a private country home 150 years ago, the renovation will enable this much-loved house to meet the expectations of the 21st century visitor, with more attractive public spaces for programs that for many are central to the experience of Wave Hill.

This milestone in the life of the house will be celebrated with a Target Free Weekend July 6 and 7.

Join us for free festive activities--and free admission to the grouds--for all ages. Start your day with a calming, plein-air wellness activity and then tour the house or stop by the Family Art Project in its old--yet new!--stomping ground. Flex your creative muscle at a collaborative art project, and sip on a refreshing herbal beverage courtesy of Wave Hill exclusive caterer Great Performances, all while live music fills the air. Admission to the grounds and all programs are free all weekend, thanks to the generous support of Target.
