LOS ANGELES October 29, 2013 - A new app has landed on the market, and it's about to save American car owners a whole lot of time. Weehy, pronounced like the words 'we' and 'he' put together, is the website and mobile application that brings the wash to the car, sparing its users from tiresome and time-wasting carwash runs.
The app's founding duo, made up of software engineer Benjamin Guez and businessman Teddy Truchot, confessed lifeaholics and very busy guys, came up with the idea during a casual chat. Over the next few days the concept took form and they just could not let it go. After one carwash-related dream too many, the men partnered to create the US's first mobile carwash booking app.

Weehy is designed to make the car-washing ordeal quick and easy: you type in the time and address that you need your car cleaned, you choose a carwash option and you make your secure online payment directly on the interface. After that, they have you covered: Weehy finds an available detailer and sends him on his way to wash your car at the specified time and place. The company hand-selects its detailers for their professionalism, trustworthiness and track record, and the carwashes are standardized to ensure a top quality service every time, whether it's for your junky car or luxury vehicle.
The carwash-booking app was developed in just a few months by the founders themselves. It launched its Beta version for a select group of insiders on October 1st and just became available to the public of Los Angeles on Monday, a month later.
