WELLCARE AND HOLY CROSS HOSPITAL EXPAND CHICAGO PROVIDER NETWORK
Tampa, Florida (September 7, 2011) – WellCare Health Plans Inc. (NYSE: WCG), a leading provider of managed care services for government-sponsored health care programs, and Holy Cross Hospital, a not-for-profit health system serving residents of Chicago’s southwest neighborhoods and suburbs, announced a partnership that offers expanded access and options to WellCare Medicare members in the Chicago area. This partnership adds nearly 250 qualified physicians to WellCare’s provider network.

Holy Cross Hospital facilities and services that have been added to WellCare’s provider network include a 274-bed hospital that provides a comprehensive range of services, such as emergency care; inpatient, outpatient and surgical services; and primary care services offered by three neighborhood affiliate locations.
