Today, music streaming service WiMP opens a limited, free of charge test period for all music lovers in Poland. WiMP was elected Best Music Service at the Meffy Awards last year, and regularly wins product tests in all its markets. The award-winning service has been designed specifically for the Polish market and offers an editorial music experience. WiMP starts today with the clear aim to be the best music service for music lovers in Poland and presents its service all weekend at the European Music Fair in Warsaw.

WiMP gives you tips and music guidance and makes it easy to find musical inspiration. The WiMP local editors continously update the service with what’s new and presents reviews of the music catalogue of over 18 million tracks. Among other clever features are WiMP Radio, playlist search and pages, bookmarks, and a feature to follow both pages, lists and friends in WiMP.

Users will quickly find WiMP editorial tips and recommendations made visible with pictures, more descriptive texts, links to related music and overviews of different types of playlists, albums and songs in different genres.

”We are really excited to open WiMP in Poland and I will be including lots of playlists and tips every day, starting at the European Music Fair in Warsaw from tomorrow”, says Katarzyna Rogalska, Editorial Manager for WiMP in Poland.

WiMP has licensed over 18 million tracks and has some 350,000 paying users worldwide and growing rapidly. The service is available in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany and in Holland under a different brand. WiMP is launching now in Poland, and is also preparing launch in other countries. WiMP's parent company Aspiro AB is listed on the Nasdaq OMX stock exchange in Stockholm.
