Wirepas Network Tool enables real-time monitoring of device networks at any scale

Ixonos and Wirepas partner for future-proof IoT

Wirepas has launched the Wirepas Network Tool that enables easy monitoring and visualization of Wirepas enabled device networks. With the Network Tool, the connected devices can be mapped, the structure of the network analyzed and diagnostic parameters visualized over time.

As all the Wirepas Connectivity intelligence is in the network, the devices decide the best actions by themselves locally - no central network management is needed. There are, however clear benefits in being able to monitor and gain information about the operations of the network. Wirepas Connectivity enables cost efficient, de-centralized device networks at any scale, and now the customers can monitor their networks real-time using Wirepas Network Tool.

The Network Tool can also be used as a front-end tool to control over-the-air firmware updates. Furthermore, the network parameters can be configured on network or even device level.

-  The way we see it, no company should invest in IoT networks without the possibility to monitor the operations of the network and over-the-air updates. The business needs and application requirements evolve fast, and there needs to be the possibility to update application software and connectivity firmware remotely. This is crucial to the total cost of ownership and functionality of the IoT applications, Wirepas CEO stresses.

Wirepas partners with Ixonos
