The McGettigan Group Announces the Opening of Their Newest Address in Dublin

Frankfurt, 17 January 2017 – The Irish independent McGettigan Hotel Group today announced the opening of their new hotel wing The Address at Dublin 1 located in the North Star Hotel. The North Star Hotels is part of Worldhotels, a global brand that brings together some of the world's most unique independent hotels. The Address at Dublin 1 opened its doors at the beginning of February 2017.

The Address at Dublin 1 is located in the heart of Dublin’s business district, the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), and a short stroll away from The Convention Centre Dublin (CCD). The hotel is easily accessible by all public transport routes and the Dublin Airport is only a ten-minute drive through the Port Tunnel.

The wing offers 72 luxurious club rooms, all furnished with king size beds, large work stations, rainforest power showers and Nespresso machines. The Address at Dublin 1 combines ultra-modern architecture with contemporary interior and state-of-the-art technology not yet in the Dublin hotel market. This includes one-touch devices controlling in-room lighting, climate and entertainment, with a direct connection to housekeeping, 24-hour concierge and in-room dining.

Onsite amenities comprise a fully equipped gym with Scandinavian saunas, two exclusive rooftop lounges and the award-winning McGettigans Cookhouse & Bar, a relaxed eatery with an open kitchen serving the best of Irish cuisine and popular favourites. A chic large bar serves a cookhouse menu with drinks and cocktails from the resident mixologists.
