Compassion at Weyfest

Report this content

Dedicated local Compassion in World Farming supporter, Sara Stilwell raised an amazing £188 from her fundraising stand at Weyfest 2010.

Dressed up as a cow all day, Sara certainly caught the attention of the festival loving crowds.

Sara says, “Thank you so much to everyone who donated money at Weyfest. Compassion’s work would not be possible without you. Holding stands at local events really helps the public make informed decisions about where their food comes from which is something we should all be concerned about.”

Compassion HQ in Godalming are thrilled at the success of Sara’s fundraising efforts.

Hayley Warner, Supporter Services Officer for Compassion, says, “Sara did a fantastic job and we’re so pleased to have supporters in Surrey who are passionate about making a noise for farm animals.”

Hayley adds, “Compassion’s Supporter Services Team are on hand to help anyone who would like to get involved and make a difference for farm animals. We simply believe that farm animals should not, and need not suffer.”
