Motocross European Championships 24MX Set for Olecko as Poland Hosts Key 2026 EMX Weekend
The Motocross European Championships 24MX will come to Olecko on May 23 to 24, 2026, bringing together the new EMX Open category and a North Europe zone round for EMX65 / EMX85. Organized by Olecki Klub Motocyklowy OSA, the event places northeastern Poland on the 2026 FIM Europe motocross calendar and underlines Olecko’s growing role as a proven host of international motocross competition
Official information published by the Polish Motor Association and FIM Europe confirms that Olecko will stage one of Poland’s two Motocross European Championship weekends in 2026. PZM announced in December 2025 that the Olecko round would host EMX Open together with EMX65 / EMX85 on May 23 to 24, while FIM Europe has described EMX Open as a brand-new championship introduced for the 2026 season to broaden the European motocross platform and create new opportunities for both emerging and established riders.
Olecko enters the 2026 event with solid continental experience. FIM Europe race reports show that the town previously hosted a European Championship weekend in 2023, when the EMX65 / EMX85 North Europe zone returned to Olecko alongside the EMX Women category. Local information published at the time by MOSiR Olecko described that edition as combining Saturday practice and qualifying with Sunday finals in a family-friendly, festival-style atmosphere, highlighting the venue’s ability to deliver both high-level racing and a strong public-facing event.
For Olecki Klub Motocyklowy OSA, the 2026 meeting is a chance to bring international motocross back to Olecko and showcase the region to riders, teams and fans from across northern Europe. For 24MX, the title sponsorship links the brand with an event that spans established adult competition in EMX Open and the next generation of talent in EMX65 / EMX85, reinforcing its presence at both the grassroots and international levels of the sport.
