New CEO in 24SevenOffice Group AB
Eirik Stranden will take over as the CEO of 24SevenOffice Group AB from Staale Risa with immediate effect. Eirik has been responsible for the business development division of 24SevenOffice for the last 6 months and is a former management consultant from Boston Consulting Group and EY. Staale Risa will continue in the Board of directors and be available to support Eirik in a transition period.
Staale Risa is suggested to be new deputy chairman of the board in the Company following his own ambitions to focus more on long-term strategies and development of new business areas rather than focusing on the operational and day-to-day operations as a CEO.
Staale will still have a focus on investments in other companies not 100 % controlled by the group. This is in accordance with the plan that was expected to be implemented in 2020, but due to covid-19 was put on hold. The chairman Karl-Anders Grønland expresses thanks to how Staale Risa, as the CEO has led the company from prior to the listing at Spotlight Stock Market in 2017 and during extensive growth and lately through the covid-19 pandemic. After having led the company we are pleased that Staale will continue and focus on special and important projects not yet public in 24SevenOffice.
Eirik started his career as a management consultant in the quantitative advisory services in EY, New York. He continued his professional journey in Boston Consulting Group, until he recently joined 24SevenOffice earlier this year. Eirik has been responsible for the business development division of 24SevenOffice and has done a tremendous job since he joined the team. Eirik holds a Master’s degree in applied mathematics and finance from NTNU, Trondheim and Columbia University, New York.
For the time being he will be on an interim basis until the board of directors has made their final decision.
“I am thrilled by this opportunity and looking forward to working even closer with the amazing 24SevenOffice team to create future growth and success for the company. Staale leaves the firm well restructured after a very special period and I fully believe 24SevenOffice relatively soon will become one of the fastest growing ERP systems in Scandinavia”, says the acting CEO, Eirik Stranden.
“After 20 years of operational work in 24SevenOffice it is time to make way for new forces with new ways of thinking and strong commitment. Eirik has an enormous working capacity and energy level that I have never seen before. This combined with his strong analytical, technical and creative skills, and even more important motivational and people skills, makes him the perfect candidate to hopefully put the company into “hyper growth”. I am really looking forward to supporting Eirik to achieve his ambitious growth goals going forward, says Staale Risa”.
