SOS experts ready to come to the aid of NHS in fight against coronavirus outbreak
AN INNOVATIVE company is pulling out all the stops to come to the aid of the NHS in its hour of need as medics throughout the country battle the coronavirus outbreak.
ECO - which is known for its expertise in a range of hygiene and design solutions aimed at the likes of hospitals, care homes, schools, student accommodation and transport operations - supplies one of the UK’s largest hospital trusts.
Specialist solutions firm ECO has a tried and tested reputation of answering SOS calls to help businesses and organisations during a major crisis.
At the height of the devastating floods which hit the UK in December 2015 it was called in to action to help get a major food industry factory back on its feet.
ECO’S renowned deep cleaning capability, including its dry ice and disinfecting expertise, is once again set to help the nation in its hour of need.
Today, as part of an ongoing contract, ECO delivered a consignment of specially-treated antibacterial furniture to Leeds General Infirmary, part of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Scottish firm ECO, which is building its own state-of-the-art HQ in Annan for 80 staff, is also a one-stop shop for designing and converting any building - whether that’s a hotel, warehouse, or disused property - into a suitable environment ready to join the fight against coronavirus.
Eddie Black, managing director of Eco, said: “It is vital at this time of national emergency for businesses and organisations to come together and collaborate to share our resources and skills to help in the fight against coronavirus.
“We want to help the NHS, care homes and other medical centres - and help to convert other buildings for medical use whether that’s hotels, cinemas, theatres, concert halls, community centres, church halls or disused buildings - in the fastest, most effective way possible.
“If anyone needs our expertise in this area, and it’s within our capabilities and we have the resources, we will get our teams onto it immediately to achieve what needs to be done. If we can help in any way, we will.”
Any organisation or business which would benefit from ECO’s help is asked to contact response@teameco.co.uk
