City Bridge Dental sponsors Winchester Criterium and Cycle Fest for second year

City Bridge Dental Care, on Bridge Street, is to sponsor the annual Winchester Criterium and Cycle Fest for a second year. The private dental practice will once again sponsor the Sprints section of the Criterium races, which take place on Sunday 5th June 2016.  

The sponsorship ties in with its mission to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle, which includes taking people care of their teeth.

Cycling has a particular resonance with the practice, where dentist Mark Aston takes part in competitive and endurance biking events to raise money for charity. In 2015 alone, Mark completed a 105 mile triathlon and rode 190 miles across the Yorkshire dales, raising over £500 for Alzheimer’s Society.

Mark Aston said, “We are delighted to be lending our support to this fantastic local event. As a keen cyclist, I know how rewarding cycling can be as part of an overall fitness regime and Winchester Criterium inspires all ages to get on their bikes.’ Mark will be presenting prizes to the Sprint winners on the podium after the races.
