Designers and architects can now choose from 54 patterns, available through local stock

Bracknell, UK, 24 January 2012 – Diversified technology company 3M has announced that its translucent polyester film for interior decoration, privacy and architectural applications is now available in 54 different patterns. Fasara Decorative Window Films enable designers and architects to create functional yet aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. Representing a fraction of the cost of etched or sandblasted glass, the films are ideal for refresh or refurb projects in a wide range of sectors, including retail, hospitality, restaurants and office environments.

The new range extension now presents even more possibilities for designers and architects. 54 patterns – including gradation, stripe, border, prism, fabric, frost and matte – are now available with a five day lead time through local stock in Europe.

These tough, dimensionally stable films are intended, first and foremost, to provide personal privacy by obscuring the view through the inside surface or exterior window, as well as interior glass partitions. Secondary benefits include design and décor for glass partitions, windows and doors, fully or partially filmed panes, border decoration and internally illuminated displays.

Utilising a pressure sensitive adhesive, the films allow for wet or dry application and are easily applied on-site with little or no business downtime. They can also be easily removed and reapplied as brands or designs change over time. The low gloss surface of the films reduces glare and their ability to block up to 99 per cent of UV light reduces fade on fabrics. Their rigid and tough construction makes them more durable and increases personal safety from flying glass in case of a breakage.

Fasara Decorative Window Films are warranted for five years. For more information, please visit www.3M.co.uk/graphicsolutions.
