Bracknell, UK, 24 April 2012 – Diversified technology company 3M announced today the launch of a website redesign for its Purification division at www.3M.co.uk/filtration. Site visitors benefit from improved navigation and better organization of content so they can quickly and easily find what they’re searching for in relation to life sciences, industrial, foodservice, residential and air filtration. New features include a quick search product catalogue, application scenarios, latest industry news, events, technical datasheets, brochures and much more. Also presented on the site is a newly launched roadshow that takes 3M’s range of disposable and rapid hygiene detection solutions direct to biotech and pharmaceutical customers for a hands-on product demonstration and testing.

The redesigned web site incorporates core brand messages of product diversity, innovation, expertise and increased productivity to help customers understand the breadth of 3M’s product portfolio and processes. It is the first of many upcoming plans that 3M’s Purification Division has incorporated into its 2012 marketing campaign. The Disposable Solutions Roadshow forms a major part of this.

Running from April, the roadshow offers customers the chance to hear presentations about industry issues and learn how 3M can help address their bioprocessing needs. They also have the unique opportunity to get involved in a live Zeta Plus Encapsulated Filter System from 3M a product demonstration and test the 3M Rapid Detection System for plant hygiene.

Andrew Whitehouse, Sales and Marketing Manager for 3M’s Purification Division, said, “With the website redesign and roadshow we are demonstrating an ongoing commitment to improving resources and ensuring positive experiences for our customers across the board. The roadshow has proved a great success in other European countries. We have been able to completely change customer perceptions of the disposable depth filtration system by showing just how easy it is to install and operate.”
