3M Appoints New European Key Account Manager
Bracknell, UK, 25 July 2012 – 3M Touch Systems, a division of diversified technology company 3M, has announced the appointment of Sascha Goerner to the position of European Key Account Manager . Based in Germany and reporting to EMEA Business Development Manager Francesco Fasoglio, Mr Goerner takes on responsibility for the maintenance and growth of strategic accounts in the retail banking sector. His position also involves the targeting and development of prospective key accounts in the industrial PC market. His objective is to reinforce the presence of core products in these major growth markets, such as the MicroTouch System SCT7650EX range from 3M, whilst introducing the high performance multi-touch portfolio based on reliable, ultra-fast Projected Capacitive Technology (PCT).
“Sascha is a highly valuable member of the team and will play a crucial role in implementing our strategy to further strengthen our sales efforts in European territories,” said Franceso Fasoglio. “He will engage with key retail banking and industrial customers to help them find the best touch solutions to meet their specific needs for increased productivity and competitiveness.”
Mr Goerner comes from a technical background, bringing with him many years of experience in product sales and marketing support. He joined 3M as Field Application Engineer in 2003 having completed a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Aachen, Germany. Following this, he held the role of European Technical Specialist covering 3M’s key and accounts.
