4Subsea has been awarded a service agreement to monitor steel catenary risers on the Floating Production Storage and Offloadings (FPSOs) on the Bacalhau field in Brazil.The service is delivered using 4insight® Subsea Asset Integrity which combines advanced strain and motion sensors to measure vessel motions and riser load with algorithms to calculate pressure and hoop stress, accumulated riser fatigue damage and damage rate to monitor the integrity and risks to steel catenary risers on the FPSO. 4Subsea Secures Three-Year Service Agreement to Monitor Vår Energi's West Phoenix Rig

4Subsea has been awarded a three-year service agreement with Vår Energi to monitor and analyse wellhead integrity to ensure safe operations for the Balder Future drilling and completion operations.  The SWIM™ service employs retrofittable subsea sensors to measure movement and strain on the wellhead. It applies advanced algorithms and machine learning combined with deep domain expertise to monitor fatigue damage accumulation, well support and structural integrity.The service creates a digital twin of the well and riser systems combined with boundary conditions and updated with sensor data.

4Subsea Installs IoT Sensors on Floating Turbine Zefyros to Prove Cost Reduction Potential with Digital Twin

April 28th 2020 - 4Subsea has installed advanced, retrofit sensors on floating turbine Zefyros (previously Hywind Demo) to prove cost reduction potential with a Digital Twin.
