Unsuited and Unbooted, an inspirational and motivational event for women in business in the South West with guest speaker Saira Khan from the BBC show The Apprentice, takes place on 21 May 2010 at The Monks Yard in Somerset. A brand new event, www.unsuitedandunbooted.co.uk aimed at women in business is coming to the South West. If you are a woman who is employed, thinking of starting up your own business or already running a business, then you simply can’t afford to miss this event. Most women pride themselves on recognising a bargain and at just £45 places at Unsuited and Unbooted will be snapped up. The first fifty delegates to register will receive a FREE Networking CD worth £11.99! Looking to build on your business skills? Two free workshops are part of the package when you book to attend Unsuited and Unbooted. These could include a workshop run by Saira Khan, one of the most dynamic contenders ever to appear in the hit series The Apprentice, and now a very successful business woman. Saira will share her knowledge on boosting your business and making those all important sales. Or perhaps you want to book on to the workshop by leading solicitors Porter Dodson that will inform on taking your business to the next level including hiring staff and selling on line? Check out the other workshops at: http://www.unsuitedandunbooted.co.uk/programme The day is the brainchild of five business women, each running their own businesses in the South West, who decided that there was a real gap in the market for an event that served the needs of women working in the region. It has been carefully designed so that everyone who attends can extract the maximum benefit. Business clinics run by Business Link South West will be running through out the day and a wide range of different exhibitor trade stands will be on hand to offer advice on networking, marketing, how to set yourself up on social networking sites, financing your business, buying print, public relations and videography. Best of all you don’t have to come in full business regalia (although we won’t be turning away anyone wearing a suit!) – comfortable attire is the order of the day and will increase enjoyment of one of the two activities (clay pigeon shooting or archery) also included in the price (along with lunch!). Organisers of the event are Carly Warren, Thoroughbred Print; Rachel Sweet from SweetSkills; Jane Adkins from A Head for PR; Jacqui Yeoell from West Country Galleries and Rebecca Holling from The Monks Yard.
