On the 29 October 2010, Brainwave will open their twenty first shop at 2 Priorswood Place Taunton, following the success of their existing Taunton store at 106 Roman Road. On the 6 August 2010, Brainwave will open its twentieth charity shop and has chosen the popular seaside town of Dawlish for its location. The shop is at Richmond Place, Dawlish, EX7 9LT and Brainwave has appointed locally based Amanda Sainsbury as Shop Supervisor. The shop will be traditional in style, only stocking donations of clothing, books, bric a brac and furniture from local residents and businesses. Footballing legend, Geoff Hurst kicked off children’s charity, Brainwave’s National Raffle with ticket number one. And what better time to do it as all of England contemplates the national team’s chances at this year’s World Cup.
