A-ROSA installs the fastest Internet on the river
New internet packages available for booking on six ships from mid-July
Rostock, 10 July 2025 – A-ROSA is setting up multiple ships with particularly fast and reliable internet to offer guests an even more comfortable and personalised travel experience. The new Wi-Fi systems are being installed on six ships: On A-ROSA FLORA (Danube), A-ROSA SENA and AQUA (Rhine) and the entire France fleet – A-ROSA LUNA, STELLA and VIVA. The on-board sale of a range of internet packages will start in mid-July.
From then on, guests on these six ships will have access to a state-of-the-art internet service that is ideally tailored to different needs. The data packages can be booked flexibly per day or for the entire duration of a cruise. Those who opt for the entire sailing receive attractive price savings of 20 per cent. Bookings can be made exclusively on board.
The offer ranges from data packages for fundamental features such as text messages, emails and surfing the internet to the extensive “STREAM” package, which also provides music and video streaming on the most popular platforms. Meanwhile, the A-ROSA App and website remain fully accessible to all guests, even without a booked internet package, so that information on A-ROSA and the individual cruise is available at all times free of charge.
“With the new internet packages, we are creating another way to customise your A-ROSA cruise. Some guests intentionally want to unplug, while others want to share their holiday memories right away on social media. And this option is now also available to them at the most idyllic places of our sailings. We visit the most beautiful natural regions in Europe, such as the Cataracts and the Danube Delta with A-ROSA FLORA or the Norman chalk gorges with our A-ROSA VIVA. Often, however, there is no internet connection available in these places – a similar situation applies in locks. We now offer the right solution with the help of satellite technology: reliable internet on the river,” explains Jennifer Böckmann, Manager Hotel Services at A-ROSA.
With this new offering, the company is setting another milestone in terms of service quality and comfort on the water – and bringing the fastest Internet on Europe’s rivers to A-ROSA guests.
