A-ROSA extends option period and introduces auto cancellation

Sydney, 02 February 2022A-ROSA River Cruises is pleased to offer its Australian and New Zealand trade partners an extended 7-day option period with auto cancellation.

Effective immediately and irrespective of booking channel, agents now have a vastly extended time window to help clients book their European river cruise holiday, with peace of mind that their option booking is held for an entire week.

Birgit Eisbrenner, Regional Director Australia & New Zealand, comments: “At A-ROSA we recognise that making travel arrangements has become very complex. Agents need to juggle so many balls and quickly respond to changing parameters. The extended option period of 7 days means one less thing for them to worry about.”

“Bookings on option do not even need to get cancelled anymore. They automatically drop out, once the option period expires,” she concludes.

The booking process adjustments coincide with a strong increase in enquiries, in particular for A-ROSA’s new flagship vessel, A-ROSA SENA which launches in May this year. The largest river cruise ship on the Rhine, A-ROSA SENA’s standard cabins measure a spectacular 21m² and all offer spacious balconies with seating for two guests.
