Incredible super-early-booking discounts for selected 2022 departures

Sydney, 10.03.2021 – 2022 shapes up to be a big year for the Germany based market leader of premium river cruises in Europe. A range of exciting new itineraries has been added, bringing the total to 50, across 13 European countries and 90 ports of call. In total, A-ROSA will operate close to 600 sailings next year. More than 350 of them will be on international ships, catering for English speaking guests.

Featuring new itineraries on the Northern Rhine, A-ROSA’s innovative E-Motion ship (yet to be named) will set sail for the first time in Spring 2022. Due to popular demand, the new vessel will stay overnight in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, allowing more time to enjoy these vibrant cities both during the day and evening.

The E-Motion ship will be the first in a new generation, offering standard cabins of 21m² with large balconies, comfortably accommodating two people. There will also be dedicated family cabins measuring 28m² in size that sleep five people, making them perfect for multi-generational travellers. More details about the ground-breaking new ship will be released in due course.

Other 2022 itinerary highlights include Floriade-garden-festival sailings in the Netherlands between April and October. The dedicated cruises provide guests with access to this internationally renowned horticultural show, that takes place every ten years.

In addition, A-ROSA guarantees its passengers pole position at the 2022 Rhine in Flames spectacle. Celebrated between May and September, the Rhine valley’s fairy-tale like setting is the venue of spectacular fireworks. Best to be admired from a vantage point on the water, A-ROSA’s guests are invited to watch on as the river bursts into flames.

New itineraries will also be operated on the Danube and the Douro river in Portugal.

“With 2022 departures selling quickly, now is the right time to book,” advises Birgit Eisbrenner, Regional Director Australia & New Zealand. “Our popular Premium-All-Inclusive tariff allows guests to rebook free of charge up to 30 days prior to departure, and anyone who books now also benefits from incredible early-booking savings of up to 20%¹.”

A-ROSA operated successfully and COVID-free during the Northern Summer last year, after implementing comprehensive health and safety measures for passengers and crew.
