What A-ROSA’s guests said!
Feedback from passengers who joined A-ROSA’s first post COVID-19 lockdown cruises
Rostock, 6 July 2020 – A-ROSA River Cruises set sail again mid-June. Guests from Germany and other European countries eagerly awaited their voyages on the line’s premium vessels. The first sailing was on the Rhine river, taking guests to the vibrant Dutch cities of Amsterdam and Rotterdam and then cruising south on the romantic Mosel, through fairy tale like countryside, passing lush terraced vineyards, quaint villages and ancient castles.
Guests’ unanimous feedback was that the new health and hygiene concept was applied smoothly and non-intrusively.
Tour Guide Franziska Bergmann wasn’t sure what to expect on a river cruise ship post COVID-19 lockdown. „Not only was I impressed by the crew’s attention to detail and premium facilities on board,” she said. “I can, hand on my heart, recommend a river cruise on board of A-ROSA. None of the adjustments made, to adhere to the health protocols diminished the wonderful time our group had. Everyone enjoyed their well-deserved holidays on board of the beautiful A-ROSA Flora,” she concluded.
Other guests, on other A-ROSA ships echoed Ms Bergmann’s statement.
“The service on board of A-ROSA MIA was outstanding. The crew was a perfect team, doing an excellent job in the new normal environment,” reported Renate Lange Heinicke and Jürgen Luce who sailed on the Danube, admiring Vienna’s imperial splendour and the magnificent cities of Budapest and Bratislava.
Acknowledging that current border closures prevent travellers from Australia and New Zealand to visit Europe at the moment, Birgit Eisbrenner, A-ROSA’s Regional Director Australia and New Zealand still has good news. “We extended our amazing early-bird offers for many of our 2021 departures until the 31st of August. Guests can save up to A$1,000 per person if they book now. Our free-of-charge reservation change policy provides guests with additional peace of mind,” she explains.
