AAK finalized business acquisition in the U.K.

AAK has finalized its acquisition of the wet food division from the U.K. Company Lion Food Limited. As announced in the previous press release of 12 April 2006, the acquisition is a natural step in the AAK strategy to further consolidating its market position within the Food Service segment. The acquired business has an annual turnover of approximately £ 14 million, and will considerably extend the AAK UK's business in the sauces, dressings and marinade sector. The purchase price for the wet foods division is estimated to be £ 2,5 - £ 3 millions, including working capital, contingent on a subsequent valuation of the inventory belonging to the acquired business.
