AarhusKarlshamn AB on Stockholm’s O-list invites to Capital Market Day at Operaterrassen in Stockholm

September 11 is the first day of AarhusKarlshamn listing on the Stockholm Stock Exchanges O-list. At a ceremony at the Stockholm Stock Exchange this morning, the company’s CEO Jerker Hartwall rang the traditional opening bell starting Monday’s trading. Aarhus United A/S and Karlshamns AB were each previously listed on the stock exchanges in Copenhagen and Stockholm respectively. Now they have returned to the stock market in the newly merged company, officially listed, after having been traded during the interim period on First North. AaarhusKarlshamn is the result of a directed placement from the two previous principal owners, Melker Schörling and the Bek-Nielsen family. The shareholders were offered payment in either cash or shares in the newly formed company, which was later named AarhusKarlshamn AB. “We have been working with the merger for close to a year,” says Jerker Hartwall, head of the AarhusKarlshamn AB. "We have strictly followed an agenda, checked off point by point, shown potential synergies worth 175 MSEK. Now it is time for one of the most important events – to officially list the share on the Stockholm Stock Exchange’s O-list.” AarhusKarlshamn is the leading player in the market for speciality fats. The company has commenced a journey towards even larger market shares of products higher up in the value chain, where there is growth in the market and margins are larger. “The time has come to share the company’s know-how, present the company’s activities and look to the future,” says Jerker Hartwall. “That is why we are inviting guests to a capital market day where the entire new group management is present.” AarhusKarlshamn’s capital market day will be held at Operaterassen on October 3, 2006, commencing at 0900.
