The AarhusKarlshamn share now traded at Nya Marknaden

AarhusKarlshamn AB is now established in the financial markets. Today is the first day for the share to be traded at Nya Marknaden, where it is sponsored by Enskilda Securities. The merger between the two companies is the result of a public offer made by BNS Industrier to acquire all shares in Karlshamns AB (listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange) and Aarhus United A/S (listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange). The major owners of AarhusKarlshamn AB are Melker Schörling AB and United International Enterprises Ltd, the latter owned by the Bek-Nielsen family. AarhusKarlshamn intends to apply for a listing on the Stockholm Stock Exchange (on its so-called “O List”) in the spring of 2006, and thereafter also for a secondary listing on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. The total sales of AarhusKarlshamn AB will amount to around SEK 10 billion, and the Group will employ 2,500 persons at production plants and sales offices all over the world. With production units in seven different countries, AarhusKarlshamn will be a world-leader in the area of environmentally friendly, high value-added vegetable oils and fats. Its products are used in applications such as food products, confectionery and cosmetics, but you also meet them in a wide range of other products for daily use. President and CEO of AarhusKarlshamn is Jerker Hartwall, former CEO of Karlshamns AB; whereas Erik Höjsholt, President and CEO of Aarhus United A/S, is the Chairman of the new company’s Board of Directors. - - - - - - - - - - -
