AB Vista will exhibit its ground-breaking forage pre-treatment for ruminants, VistaPre-T, on its stand (Hall 9, Stand D73) during SPACE 2015, in Rennes, France, September 15‑18.

VistaPre-T was developed specifically to increase the activity of fibre digesting organisms in the rumen, bringing benefits to producers by significantly enhancing forage digestibility.

The pre-treatment is a revolutionary concept in the market and strengthens AB Vista’s global ruminant portfolio, building on its current success within the monogastric sector.

Dr Xavière Rousseau, AB Vista’s Technical Manager for France, says: “VistaPre-T increases fibre degradation and improves forage D-value of between 3-13 percentage points – improving feed value and reducing variation in feed quality often seen in typical silage clamps.”

SPACE delegates can also learn more about Quantum Blue, which was launched in Europe last year.

Since its introduction, the phytase has delivered significant improvements in formulation costs, feed efficiency and return on investment for customers across Europe and further afield. Dr Maria Soto-Salanova, AB Vista's Business Manager for France, says. “The commercial adoption of Quantum Blue has continued to rise – with a number of customers opting for superdosing – which takes phytase beyond simple nutrient release to destroy the majority of the phytate anti-nutrient found in feed. Visitors at SPACE can learn more about the latest Quantum Blue European trial work at the AB Vista stand.”

In addition to its product range, members of AB Vista’s technical support team will be available to discuss with customers its range of services that help to optimise feed formulations.

“We offer a web-based service that uses our in-house pioneering ‘Near Infra-Red’ (NIR) spectroscopy technology to predict the nutritional value of feed ingredients,” Dr Rousseau says.

Another is AB Vista’s enzyme analysis service – a set of tools that determines the presence and quantity of active enzymes in feed.

SPACE attendees will be able to sample a range of aperitifs on the AB Vista stand across the three day event.
