70 Volvo trucks to Syria

70 VOLVO TRUCKS TO SYRIA Volvo Trucks has received an order for 70 Volvo FH12 trucks from Syria. The National Company for Transport LTD, Damascus, has placed this latest order for 70 trucks, all Volvo FH12 6x4 models. 15 of the trucks are tractor units, while the remaining 55 are rigids. This is one of the largest single orders Volvo Trucks has ever received from Syria, and marks a major step forward for Volvo on the Syrian market. Volvo sold 71 trucks in Syria in 1997, out of a total of 210 imported trucks throughout the year.
