Correction to earlier version of release

VOLVO ACQUIRES FURTHER SHARES IN SCANIA Correction of version distributed earlier this morning. Volvo has acquired a further 238,720 A shares and 7,930,297 B shares in Scania. The shares have been acquired at an average price of SEK 305 per share. Following the acquisition, Volvo owns a total of 20,254,026 A shares and 30,961,267 B shares in Scania, which corresponds to 21.2 percent of the voting rights and 25.6 percent of the share capital. After acquisition of the Scania shares which AB Volvo has agreed to acquire from Investor, Volvo will own 74,315,406 A shares and 32,469,960 B shares, which corresponds to 70.5 percent of the voting rights and 53.4 percent of share capital.
