New President of Volvo Group Finance

NEW PRESIDENT OF VOLVO GROUP FINANCE Staffan Carlson has been appointed new president of the Volvo Group's internal bank, Volvo Group Finance. He assumes his new position on December 1, 1998. Staffan Carlson, 42, has been employed within the Volvo Group since 1982. He is currently chief financial officer and senior vice president of Volvo Car Corporation. Staffan Carlson succeeds Stefan Johnsson who earlier has been appointed member of Volvo Group executive committee, resonsible for strategic matters and business development. A successor to Staffan Carlson as chief financial officer of Volvo Car Corporation has not yet been named.
